How to Manually Add Steam Games

In some cases, SGI may not automatically detect all the games in your Steam library for reasons explained in the FAQ.

When this happens, you can manually add a game by providing its name and AppID. Once added, it will be available in features like Card Farming, Achievement Unlocker, and Automatic Idler.

Manually added games may not always work with all SGI features. If a feature fails for a manually added game, it's likely that the game's data isn't accessible through the standard Steam APIs.

Click either Card Farming, Achievement Unlocker, Automatic Idler, or Favorite Games in the sidebar, depending on which list you want to add the game to

Click the button in the page header

In the modal that opens, enter the game name and game id (AppID) of the game

How to find a game's AppID:

  • Steam store URL — the number in the URL is the AppID. For example, in https://store.steampowered.com/app/570/Dota_2/, the AppID is 570
  • SteamDB — search for the game at steamdb.info and the AppID is shown prominently on the game's page
  • Steam Library — right-click the game in your Steam Library, select Properties, and the AppID is listed on the General tab

Click Add to add the game to the list
