Card Farming Feature Overhaul
The Card Farming feature has been completely overhauled to make it easier to use, more efficient, and more reliable. The old drag-and-drop queue has been replaced by a new Whitelist tab, and the farming process is now mostly fully automated with only minor configuration needed to get started.
See the new Card Farming guide for a complete breakdown of how everything works.
New 🎉
- Added a Whitelist tab to replace the old Queue tab — if you'd rather only farm a handful of specific games instead of your whole library, add them here. Leave this empty to farm all games with card drops remaining
- Added an Hours Until Farmable setting to Settings → Card Farming — controls how much playtime a game needs before Card Farming considers it ready to be farmed. Some Steam accounts don't need to wait at all — see the How It Works page for a more in-depth explanation
- Added the Farm Multiple Games At Once setting to Settings → Card Farming — off by default, since farming more than one game with card drops remaining at the same time can significantly slow down how fast cards drop for each one
Improved 🚀
- Games that haven't built up enough playtime yet are idled together first, then Card Farming automatically switches over to actively farming whichever games are ready, one at a time by default
- Removed the Farm Games In Queue, Farm All Games, Single Farming Mode, and Farming Order settings — Card Farming now handles all of this automatically
Fixed 🐛
- Fixed an issue that caused pluralization to not work correctly in some languages, resulting in incorrect text being displayed in the app
- Fixed an issue where the Notifications panel was not localizing relative timestamps
